Quality Assurance Engineer - SQA - Software Tester

*THIS POSITION WILL BE REMOTE/TELECOMMUTING - THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION*

Based in beautiful Carpinteria, CA we are looking for highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineers. In this role you will work with other engineers to design, create, document, implement and maintain test scripts for complex on-demand functionality.

What you need for this position:

-Proficient knowledge of testing web applications across multiple platforms
-Experience with Rally or other issue tracking systems.
-Experience working with SQL Server 2000 or 2005 is preferred but not required
-Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment.
-Experience with web QA automation.
-At least 4+ years experience in SQA, both black and White Box
-Programming skills in C++, preferred but not required
-Bachelor's Degree. A BS in CS or EE preferred.
-Desire a strong knowledge of Database interface and SQL

What you'll be doing:

-Assures product design and performance conform to product requirements and specifications.
-Maintain QA test environment
-Work closely with product managers, designers and developers to track, report, and verify bugs.
-Perform functional, usability, platform compatibility, and stress testing for web applications.
-Help Design and implement a testing framework.
-Write automated scripts to perform basic variable checks, stress tests and performance tests.
