Job Summary

Reporting to the Leader, Product Management, the candidate will be accountable for driving the growth and maintenance of specific product categories, as well as managing a portfolio of product development projects. He or she will be responsible for assessing market needs and trends, defining product strategies and operational requirements, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring the successful execution and delivery of product launches and enhancements. In addition, the candidate will be required to work closely with the Sales team with client proposals and client meetings, and to fulfill client professional services project management duties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of chip & apps products to increase revenue and market share.

  • Keep abreast of and analyze market trends and needs to successfully identify new product development and/or enhancement opportunities that are aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Ensure close collaboration and coordination of activies with several key stakeholders to foster a team approach for the successful development, marketing and integration of the Company’s products.

  • Analysis of business requirements in close collaboration with technical product managers taking the full value chain into consideration

  • Build compelling executive level product strategy based on well informed analysis and insights.

  • Maintain a comprehensive product roadmap based on market needs and manage product transitions in a smooth and timely manner.


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Comply with G&D Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager. Management will ensure employees are provided with job specific Environmental, Health & Safety information, training and also ensure employees follow workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements


Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of Payment and Services product development in Financial or Telecom industries.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Understanding of The Payment Mobile Ecosystem (HCE, RFID, in the Telco and Banking applications) Smart Card products in banking domain is desirable.

  • Innovative approach to identify feasible product re-prioritizations that can succeed in new business verticals using the same platform.

  • In-depth knowledge about various chip technologies, embedded chip solutions and IOT is a definite plus.

  • Conceptual thinker and problem solver – Able to build structure around a business issue, and use creative “out of the box” solutions to drive output.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – demonstrates the ability to influence and build concensus across a diverse group of stakeholders with strong management, negotiating and networking skills in a complex environment where matrix management and competing priorities are a reality to deal with each day.

  • Written Communication – Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language , clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.

  • Oral Communication – Ability to express oneself and communicate with others verbally recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language, it includes tone, style and structure.

  • A communication facilitator acting as a “translator” between technical and sales teams.


  • Minimum BE / BTech Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science or Business equivalent from reputed university.

  • MBA is an asset
